Scraped up your crash bars and don't want to replace the whole setup?

These aluminum sliders are designed to take the direct ground contact that could otherwise scrape the crash bar. If a slider gets damaged, you can inspect it and replace it separately. Check the crash bar itself after an impact, too, since replacing the slider won't fix damage to the guard.

Does a 1.25-inch crash bar automatically mean these sliders will fit?

Not quite. The guard also needs threaded mounting holes in the right place. Measure the tube and check the mounting points before ordering; matching the diameter alone isn't enough to confirm a fit.

Are the mounting bolts included, or should I keep the original screws?

The kit does not include 3/8-16 screws. The installation instructions say to save the OEM slider screws for reuse, so keep them when removing the original parts and make sure the mounting hardware is suitable before installation.

Will these sliders keep my saddlebags from hitting the ground?

They're designed to help prevent the crash bar or saddlebag guard from scraping directly against the ground. They don't guarantee that the saddlebags or other parts will stay untouched in a tip-over; the result depends on the motorcycle's setup and how it lands.

Is the gold anodized finish just a styling choice?

The gold finish adds a visible custom detail, but the product also specifies resistance to corrosion, wear, and scratches. Keep in mind that no surface finish is immune to damage from a hard impact or repeated abrasion.

Can I install these sliders on both sides of the guard?

Yes. The product is designed to mount on both sides of the saddlebag guard. Before starting, confirm that both mounting points have the required threaded holes and that you have suitable 3/8-16 mounting hardware ready.
